How This Bet Works
An extra zero adds a losing pocket to a standard red/black or single-number bet without increasing its payout. The resulting expected loss is 2/38 of the stake.
Before Using the Number
The five-number 0–00–1–2–3 basket is excluded because its payout produces a different edge. Special even-money rules are also outside this model.
